Arborist mulch is created from tree and vegetation material gathered during pruning, tree removals, and land clearing. All material is processed through our high-production wood chipper before being taken to our yard for aging. This process not only breaks down branches and foliage into manageable mulch, but also ensures it is safe and effective for use in gardens and landscaping projects.

At Hardfell, we age all mulch for a minimum of four weeks. This allows it to stabilise, reducing the risk of fresh material causing nitrogen depletion in your soil and ensuring it’s ready to benefit your plants immediately upon application.

Please note that as arborist mulch is derived from a variety of vegetation, we cannot guarantee it is entirely free from palm species or weeds. We always recommend monitoring your garden after application and taking any necessary precautions if required.
