Aged Arborist Mulch for Auckland Gardens
Hardfell’s arborist mulch is made from chipped tree material produced through our Auckland tree work. We age it for a minimum of four weeks before collection or delivery.
Unlike uniform decorative bark, arborist mulch contains a natural mix of wood chip, bark, twigs and leafy material. That varied texture makes it a practical option for garden beds, pathways, revegetation areas and moisture management around established trees.

Delivery is available in any quantity from a 5m³ minimum at $30/m³ including GST within Hardfell’s local area, with no additional local delivery fee. Popular delivery quantities are 5, 8, 10 and 15m³. Outside the local area, a delivery charge is calculated per kilometre.

Check the delivery access
The truck needs a safe, firm and legal route to the tipping point, with enough width, height and turning space. We cannot tip where the truck, people, property, overhead services or the public could be put at risk. The driver makes the final on-site decision.

No. This is a delivery-only service. The load is tipped at a safe, accessible drop point; spreading, barrowing and placement are not included.
Is arborist mulch the same as decorative bark?
No. Arborist mulch is a natural mix of chipped wood, bark, twigs and leafy material. Its colour and texture vary between batches, and it is not screened or graded to look like a uniform decorative bark product.
What access does the delivery truck need?
The truck needs a safe, firm and legal route with adequate width, overhead clearance and turning space. Send photos if the driveway, entrance or tipping point may be tight. The driver makes the final decision about safe placement.
